Governance & Scope
of Involvement
Mohsin Shariff Educational & Charitable Trust (MSECT) functions strictly as a development partner for government schools and does not interfere in their administrative or financial autonomy.
- MSECT has no role in the allocation or utilization of government funds. All such decisions remain solely with the Head Master / Head Mistress and the SDMC.
- MSECT does not participate in administrative matters or teacher-related governance.
- All support provided by MSECT is delivered exclusively within the framework of the MSECT 10-Point Programme for Adopted Schools.
Partnership with the Government of Karnataka
MSECT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka in accordance with the circular issued by the Commissioner of Public Instruction
(Shala Dattu Yojane/1/2008-09 dated 26-08-2008). Under this initiative, MSECT has adopted 250 government schools across Bengaluru and Mysuru, working towards their holistic development.
A dedicated panel of experts from education and allied fields ensures professional implementation and adherence to high-quality standards.
MSECT 10-Point Programme for School Development
Through this programme, MSECT supports the all-round development of over 50,000 students across 250 adopted schools.
- Daily hot midday meals
- BSI-approved packaged drinking water
- School Uniform Dresses. Three pairs of dresses to each student (1 White + 2 Colored )
- Footwear. Three pairs of Bata shoes to each student (1 White + 2 Black )

Infrastructure & facility development, including:
- Building construction, repairs, and painting,
- Toilets, furniture, gardening, and maintenance
- Appointment of a security guard for each school
- Sports development through events and sports equipment
- Healthcare camps for students
- Upgradation of libraries, laboratories, and teaching aids
- Teacher training programmes to enhance teaching effectiveness
- Personality development and study skills programmes for students

- Total annual budget for 250 schools :
