Chairman's Message ─

“We have set out with a holy mission. We are here to serve the needy and the downtrodden in the society. Of course this can be better achieved by more and more contributions from you who are a part of this social fabric. Working together we can better the future of thousands of valuable lives which otherwise may go astray and fall in the path of crime and social evils. It is our common responsibility to see that every individual, in the society regardless of caste creed or religion gets his share of a dignified life”. To work towards a Better Society which keeps improvising on its values, respects the past, realizes the present and is prepared for the future. This can be achieved only when you join hands with us in making this society a Better Place to live and prosper, for every one

Board of Trustees ─

MR. Usman Shariff

Chairman

We aim at not only educating the people about social norms of life but also rehabilitate them when they come out. By equipping them with livelihood means which will essentially mean that they can independently start living and once they have an occupation, they will not venture into criminal activities.

The Trust conducts annual rehabilitation programmes in Central Jail premises, providing outgoing prisoners with sewing machines and other professional tools based on their skills and livelihood needs. These initiatives aim to motivate them to lead a crime-free, law-abiding life. As prisoners are released based on good conduct after completing the required term, the programme offers them a fresh start and a meaningful opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Our 13 Years activities ─

Mr. Mohsin Shariff started his social activities individually from the year 1998, he established the Mohsin Shariff Educational & Charitable Trust in the year 2002. The Trust started by him has been registered in order to extend social activities. We have never and will never aspire for publicity for we do not want our left hand to know what our right hand is giving and our vision is to serve the society for a selfless cause. Soon after establishment of TRUSTS, the Government of Karnataka began recognizing the social activities of the trust and the Government of Karnataka offered an opportunity to the trust to render Mid Day Meals Services on behalf of state and centre. the trust through its organizations entered into written agreements with the state through the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayath, Bangalore and began rendering Mid Day Meal Services to around 50,000 School children every day who are studying from 1st to 10th standard in Government and Aided Schools irrespective of languages (like kannada, tamil, telugu, urdu, english), caste, creed and religion.
MSECT the Trust has installed sophisticated Rice Cleaning Machine and has established modernized kitchen centre in order to serve most hygienic food to school children, Besides Schools we have extended our reach to the prisons where in apart from serving free food our people also enlighten the prisoners about the need for eradicating the social evil called crime. This will go a long way in their coming back to the social fabric of life by realizing their mistakes and what exactly made them stray from the righteous path.

The trust through its organizations began serving hot and special meals free of cost to all the prisoners in Central Jail premises, Parappana Agrahara, Bangalore in View of Rupublic Day at his cost for which the DIG Central prisons Bangalore accorded permission. Accordingly, the trust began such services on the eve of Independence Day and Republic day and the National Freedom Fighters namely Sri Rajappa and M N Mathad & Prof. Ejazuddin presided over the function in central jail premises & celebrated the functions in the year 2002 & 2006 under the name of MSECT.
